Not many of us venture to the fifth TV channel, unless you’re watching weird reality show stuff that would bore me to sleep. Daytime telly is filled with awful Aussie soaps (just my opinion).
HOWEVER, if you like a good wildlife documentary and are happy to watch the on demand offering from their website, Channel 5 have a fascinating four season wildlife documentary of animals found in our county of Yorkshire.
I stumbled across a year old series, available to watch online, called ‘Yorkshire, A Year in the Wild’ and it’s a good watch. Ok… its not Blue Planet or Planet Earth documentary standards, but
it is still great to see. You can watch the whole series online, four episodes entitled, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
I never knew we had such fascinating wildlife across the moors and dales of the county we live in. When flakes of snow fell in April narrator Sean Bean said, ‘Winter returns!’
Noooo… not more snow, I was hoping this recent snow would be it. Snow in April…? I’ve heard from some locals that they’ve seen snow lingering till June.
Till next time, enjoy.
